An African ministry training African leaders
School of Ministry Africa began in 2008 with twelve students meeting in a borrowed church hall in Nairobi. Today we train hundreds of students each year, from townships and villages across twelve nations.
We are convinced that the strongest churches are led by local people who understand their own communities. That is why every course we offer is practical, affordable and designed to be studied while you keep serving.

Our Mission
To train, mentor and resource men and women for faithful ministry — through accessible courses, affordable resources and practical support for the churches they serve.
Our core values
Scripture first
The Bible shapes everything we teach and everything we do.
Prayerful dependence
We rely on the Holy Spirit, not our own strength.
Servant leadership
We train leaders who serve, rather than leaders who are served.
African-rooted
Our teaching is shaped by and for the African church.
Our team
The people behind the school
Our faculty are practising pastors, teachers and missionaries who bring decades of frontline ministry experience to the classroom.
